Everything you need to know about the Senior Representative Program for Madison Mole Photography!

Updated: Apr 25, 2023

Why did I start this program?

Seniors are my bread and butter. They are my favorite to shoot and the clients that have done endless shoots with. Being involved in their community is very important to me. Another reason I have started this program is to help support and appreciate this crazy and exciting time in life. Senior year is a busy and hard year. I have three main goals with this program. My first goal is to make their senior year the best possible by supporting and encouraging them through this fun and crazy time. My second goal is to recognize them during this challenging process. Yes, I said challenging. Change may be in inevitable, but that doesn't mean it isn't hard. Acknowledging their hard work in an academic, sport, skill, etc. they have done for most of their life is important. Photography is a great way to showcase your senior's hard work. The last main goal I have is to create community. It's hard to relate to our seniors. Yes, we all were seniors at some point, but not now. Times have changed and no one understands them better than their peers who are going through this life-changing experience with them. Being in a program with other seniors is so important to share that experience with, learn with and through each other, and most importantly make relationships that will last a lifetime.

Now you might wonder, how do I plan on meeting those goals? The way I plan on supporting and encouraging my seniors is through my senior representative events. I plan to have fun events like model day at a local boutique! The way I plan on recognizing them, is by making that relationship with them through the events and understanding what they are passionate about, and who they are—then implementing that into their senior photography session. Making that session more meaningful and more about them!

What are some things to expect from this program?

Emails. I love to communicate through emails. Throughout the entire time, you/ your senior that is in the program will be given reminders of each mini session, and other little events we have going on. These events will be scheduled FAR in advance to assure everyone has enough time to plan around these events. My acceptance letter into the program/email will have a list of all the dates and times and details. Now I know you're thinking, what about promoting? This is something I will assist you with. In the acceptance letter, I will give you a list of ideal ways to post about my business. For example, taking a picture of the acceptance letter email and saying "I'm so excited that I got accepted into this program and I can't wait for all the photography opportunities that are ahead!" Another good example is taking a picture of yourself dressed for one of the events and saying "Behind the session of a Madison Mole Photography mini session event, so excited!" and the list goes on! Sometimes parents see the senior representative program and think of another big responsibility, but I promise it's a lot smoother process than you think. With all the perks, I would say it's an amazing program in be evolved in. I'm so excited to meet all my seniors and get this thing started!
